For true-to-life colour reproduction, the VSC X-RITE Colour Checker provides a non-subjective standard for comparing, measuring and analysing differences in colour reproduction.

The X-RITE Colour Checker consists of a flat target board containing 24 colour patches of various hues, saturations, and brightness levels, designed to represent a broad range of colours found in the real world. The purpose of the Colour Checker is to provide a standard reference for colour calibration and colour correction, allowing examiners to achieve consistent and accurate colour reproduction.

The ColorChecker Classic design has been refined over several decades to reflect the latest advances in colour science and technology and is widely used in photography, video production,
and graphic design as a reliable and objective tool for colour management.
