The ASCLD Symposium is an industry-leading conference designed for leaders and managers in the forensic laboratory space. The symposium boasts workshops and plenary talks designed around all aspects of forensic science, but particularly focuses on enhancing leadership and management in a forensic laboratory. In addition to the workshops and plenary talks, the ASCLD Symposium is a key event for networking and interacting with the leading authorities in forensic laboratory management. The ASCLD Symposium is typically held on or around the 1st week of May and locations are usually alternated between the western and eastern United States. South Carolina IAI

The South Carolina Division of the IAI (SCIAI) has been an active organization for over 50 years and has seen a recent resurgence thanks to its successful training and conference events!

Chesapeake Bay Division IAI

The Chesapeake Bay Division of the International Association for Identification shall be a Regional Division of the Parent Body of the International Association for Identification (IAI) and shall operate as a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Maryland.

Louisiana IAI

The Louisiana Division of The International Association of Identification (LA-IAI) is representative of its members whom work for numerous departments throughout the State of Louisiana. Members of the LA-IAI, along with the officers, committees, subcommittees, staff, and corporate partners, all play a crucial role in the management and operation of the Association.

With this diverse membership come individuals from many different forensic disciplines. Our members range from beginning to experienced forensic practitioners. Many of our members are certified in their respective forensic field(s) and have received their certification from the International Association for Identification through a series of knowledge and practical application based examinations.

Texas IAI

The Texas Division of the International Association for Identification was chartered in 1935 as a professional organization for crime scene analysts, latent print examiners, evidence technicians, forensic scientists, and law enforcement personnel. Our membership is comprised of practitioners from independent school districts; academia; medical examiner's offices; private industries; and local, county, state and federal agencies. While the TDIAI is 501(c)(6) non-profit professional organization created to represent the interests and needs of forensic professionals throughout the great State of Texas, in 2021, the TDIAI Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) public charity to make forensic education, training, and research more accessible and affordable to all in Texas.

Pacific Northwest Division IAI

We are focused on furthering the professional growth and knowledge of our members, which we achieve through education, training, research, and by employing the collective wisdom of our membership. Our Association is focused on the field of forensic identification and investigation, and the scientific examination of physical evidence. We encourage professional growth and improvement, and seek to standardize our respective fields of scientific practice. Our Association is comprised of members from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and the Canadian Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. European Division of the International Association for Identification

The European Division of the IAI is focused on:

Providing training and education to members through seminars, conferences and summer schools;

Actively promoting research in the fields of forensics and biometrics;

Disseminating knowledge and information related to all the disciplines of the forensic sciences and biometrics;

Contributing with other established relevant professional organizations, following decisions of the European Council on forensics matters, the guidelines provided by European Commission Monopoly Status Forensic Organizations (e.g. ENFSI) and European Commission funded programs on forensic research cross fertilization (e.g. COST actions);

Encouraging the highest ethical standards in the collection, preservation, examination and evaluation of evidence;

Actively promoting networking between professionals, researchers, students and technical partners in all forensics and biometrics branches;

Contributing to spread relevant information on new technologies and technical solutions for practitioners and researchers.

ENFHEX

ENFHEX is an Expert Working Group of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) and supports the aims and objectives of ENFSI in the area of Forensic Handwriting Examination. The activities of ENFHEX will be directed to:

Exchange of information and expertise
Support on technical issues
Promoting quality assurance, proficiency testing and collaborative exercises
Harmonisation of examination procedures and techniques
Co-operation in research and development activities

Border Security Week Africa

Border Security Week is a regional event aimed at enhancing border security in Africa, using smart border control technologies. Border Security Week is earmarked to serve the three border environments by bringing together C-level executives from air borders, land borders, and the maritime environment. Border Security Week will look at safe and secure border and migration management technologies. The event will address the latest challenges and issues impacting border security in Africa. This annual event brings together a diverse lineup of speakers and panelists who offer in-depth insights, as well as actionable and practical models, methods, and mechanisms that have worked in other countries.

Border Security Week will bring together Border Management Authorities, Immigration Departments, Customs Authorities, Airports Authorities, Seaport Authorities, Border Patrol Police, Army, Bureau of Standards & Anti-Counterfeit Agency, Coast Guard Officers, and relevant stakeholders involved with border control.

PSE Brussels

ADS is proud to be working alongside the Department of Business and Trade (DBT) and the British Embassy to host the third instalment of the Public Security Exhibition (PSE) in Brussels, following on from previous successful editions in recent years.

This PSE will be focussed on showcasing cutting-edge UK security capabilities to help meet current security challenges in Belgium. This event will be an excellent opportunity to network and build relationships in-country, as well as capitalise on the international setting of Brussels through G2G, EU and NATO engagements in the security and resilience sector.
